From personal experience i can tell you that it is so very important to have a Will and to make sure that you state very clearly what you wish to happen with your estate. It is not good enough to tell people and hope that it will be carried out. Over the past 15years i have had 3 family members pass away without putting their wishes into a Will. One family member had a Will but it was dated 1964 and left everything to her eldest child. There were 2 other children born at a later date. So her estate was frozen and it took almost a year to sort out.
