Hello!

Aldi fans have shared their secret to the easiest way to whip up the MOST delicious homemade pizza in minutes. This pizza hack is seriously even better than takeaways and far cheaper too.

This pizza hack has only three ingredients and costs a lot less than your local pizza delivery…and we reckon it’s yummier too.

One of my favourite facebook groups, Aldi Mums, has been flooded with posts from excited mums trying out this pizza hack and I literally want to jump into through my screen and take a bit bite of the melty cheese every time I see a new picture posted.

So here’s the secret…..

The key to this tasty dish is the new Mediterranean Delite Aldi Garlic Dip ($3.50 from Aldi), which shoppers are absolutely raving about. In fact, if you’re reading this, it’s probably best to take a quick break, rush out to Aldi, buy a tub of the dip and then come back to this article. ‘Cause I reckon with the amount of enthusiasm generated by this product, it’s going to be all sold out soon, if it isn’t already!

Get Spreading

One Aldi fan posted about this pizza hack a week or two ago suggesting the following:

“If (for some reason ) you have some garlic dip leftover,  spread it on one of the $6 3 pack frozen pizzas and top with cheese.”

She also posted a few pics of how she slathered the pizza base with the garlic dip and then topped with cheese. We obviously couldn’t taste it but it looked delicious.

Who’s Up For A Midnight Snack?

This was an inspiration for another mum to try the dip on a humble piece of toast.

“Don’t know if this has been done before
But felt like a late night naughty snack…
So garlic dip spread generously on a slice of bread, then topped with cheese and put under the grill…
Mmmm mini garlic cheesy pizza bread lol
Give it a try…”

And the crowd went wild….

This Garlic Dip Is Da Bomb

The post had over 220 comments with members tagging eachother excitedly and making their own suggestions of how they would use the garlic dip.

“Damn it.. its 12:30 am and you’ve just made me have hungry… stop it woman!!!!” read one comment.

“Looks sooo good, now I want a midnight snack too!”

“That garlic dip is the f*cking bomb,” enthused another.

“I do this, but on naan bread,” one said.

“I finished the tub in one day while pairing it with a lebanese flat bread. Omg!!”

I accidentally put on 5kg eating so much of that dip! It is the best!”

I just tried this with Turkish bread, red onion and a sprinkle of mixed herbs. I give it an 11/10! delicious!”

Best Pizza Hack Ever!

The now-famous pizza hack then took off from this post. Mums all over the country have tried this super-easy method to make cheesy garlic pizza bread.

The three main ingredients are: any kind of pizza base, a tub of the garlic dip and grated cheese of your choice. Simply top your base with a generous portion of the dip. Some mums have recommended using 3/4 of the tub and then top off with a covering of grated cheese. Place in the oven or grill and cook until melted and hot.

One mum said she baked her garlic pizza in the oven for 25 mins on 180°c fan forced then grilled for the last 2 mins to get the top deliciously brown! YUM!

But Wait There’s More….

It seems like the garlic dip is super versatile and isn’t only good on pizzas. Other uses for the dip include: dribbled over roast potatoes, burger, kebabs, pizza, toasted sandwiches and scrambled eggs. One mum even said that she adds about half a tub of the garlic dip to her bolognese for extra taste.

WARNING!

One warning though, is you should NOT be eating this dip before having to wear a mask out and about. The fumes can be strong enough to make you want to pass out. But hey, we’re happy to deal with a bit of garlic breath as long as we get another slice of that damn delicious cheesy garlic pizza.
