Lah Lah’s Adventures

This Easter join Canberra artist Genevieve Swifte for a fascinating and enthralling take on the traditions of Easter and still life painting.

Medibank Icehouse’s Frosty Flicks

Kids all around Melbourne are getting ‘eggcited’ for Easter and, who could blame them when Medibank Icehouse’s Frosty Flicks school holiday program is just around the corner. Kids will have the chance to skate all day as they watch some of their favourite movies on a large inflatable screen. 

All money raised between Good Friday and Easter Monday will be donated to The Royal Children’s Hospital.   Dates: 28th of March to the 12th of April

Waterfront with Free Family Fun

Families are invited to celebrate Easter Saturday at Darwin Waterfront with free family fun and a chance to meet the Easter Bunny from 10am to 2pm on Saturday 4 April 2015.

A variety of activities will take place on the lawns including Easter art and craft; face painting, balloon twisting, jumping castles, waterslides and a live DJ.The Easter Bunny will be hopping in for a photo along with chocolate eggs and inflatable balloon giveaways for everyone.

  • I always take a look at what local – mostly free – activities are on in our area. In previous years, my daughter has made a paper lantern, made Easter decorations and watched a theatre performance – all for free. Local councils, shopping centres, libraries – they are all great sources of activities during the school holidays.
