Hello!

With their upcoming nuptials this couple are about to break one of his very famous rules to “never marry again”, though could he also be relaxing his thoughts around having kids? We certainly hope so… how gorgeous would the child of George and Amal be?!?

As reported in People, here is what he had to say about marriage back in 2006:

“Marriage? Who knows? I’ve been married. It’s not something I’m looking out for,” Clooney told PEOPLE in an exclusive interview when named Sexiest Man Alive in 2006. “Things could always change, but it’s not a consideration right now. The truth is I’m really happy. The things that are a drag in my life are so outweighed by the things that are great. I have families that I spend my days with, and friends I spend my days with, and people I care very much about. I get to do what almost no one gets to do. My life’s really good.”

And from the same article he also chatted about having children:

“I think it’s the most responsible thing you can do, to have kids,” Clooney said. “I think it’s the biggest responsibility you’ll have, and it’s not something to be taken lightly. I don’t have that thing in me that says,’must do it’. I don’t see myself ever having kids. But everything in my life has changed over periods of time … and the world does change.”

Well if the reports from Hollywood Take and TMZ are true, then there could be a baby on the horizon.

Which makes me think…. how many men and women have changed their views on marriage and kids since meeting ‘the one’?

The couple are currently holidaying in Lake Como at George Clooney’s lavish property prior to the wedding, which we are sure is going to be THE A-list wedding of the year.

There is still speculation on where they will walk down the aisle, be it his Mexican mansion or stunning Italian property, though with new laws put into place by a Mayor in Lake Como, it seems the most eligible bachelor in the world will be taken off the market in Italy.

The Mirror reports:

Last month it was revealed Clooney had persuaded the mayor of a town at Lake Como to bring in laws to guarantee his privacy during his first weeks as Amal’s husband. Anyone swimming within 100 metres of his mansion will be fined and there is no stopping on the road outside the property.

The laws operate 24 hours a day until September 30, and suggest the actor favours the property for his wedding over his villa in Mexico.

Laglio mayor Roberto Pozzi says: “We have to guarantee his privacy.”

George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin may not be expecting right now, but the turnaround with marriage certainly leads us to believe there could be other changes in store down the line.

  • Meeting “the one” can totally change your views on what’s important, and what you want to do with the rest of your life. It certainly did that for me. Can’t wait to see what gorgeous kids George & his new bride have … they’ll definitely have the genetic wheel of fortune spinning in their favour.

  • I still can’t imagine him getting married after the amount of women that he’s gone through.
Every few months it seemed like a different beautiful woman on his arm.
But congratulations to him & his fiancee
