Hello!

This is quick and easy and lets you choose what colour would you like. The towels at Big W and Kmart are perfect. Not expensive and work great as a foot mat. With one towel you could get 3 foot mats. Cheap and best.
I have doubled up the towel to have added cushion feeling. You can just use it like that or double it up.

Material

  • 1 Bath towel
  • 1 Scissor
  • 1 Needle and thread or glue gun

Method

  1. Measure the towel for desired size and then cut a bit more than the required size. You could do rectangle, square or even a circle.
  2. Sew the corners or use a hot glue gun to seal the fray.
  3. You're ready with your customised foot mat.

Notes

You could use the beach towels if you want something to put in your kids bathroom.

  • I’ve found a single thickness towel isn’t enough as a bath towel. I fold mine in half for extra absorbency

  • I love this idea! As a fan of upcycling this is great, especially with a busy bathroom, our bath mats get quite wet….these would wash and dry so much easier.
