Why not turn those decorative biscuit tins into something useful. I put mine onto the walls for extra shelving. My grandsons have got a London bus bunk bed and red and blue walls. So these London licorice tins came in handy. You can use them to keep your incense in, bits and pieces, cards, money, etc. the ideas are endless.

Material

  • 1 Biscuit tin
  • 2 Nails
  • 1 Hammer
  • 1 Spirit level

Method

  1. Line base of biscuit tin straight up against wall and wall beams.
  2. Hammer one nail inside near the top of the tin to hold it in place.
  3. Realign the tin to make sure its straight. Then hammer in another nail once straight.
  4. Place items inside and close lid right way up.

  • I would have never thought to use them this way but a very clever idea. So many things can come in pretty tins and it seems such a shame to throw them away. I use alot of them for craft storage and my young daughter loves them too to keep things like her pencils and stickers in.
