Great for recycling jars

Material

  • Glass jars (I like shaped ones)
  • Craft paper
  • Ribbon
  • Decorations
  • Hot glue gun

Method

  1. Cut a circle of craft paper the size of the lid.
  2. After gluing it on, add your decorating on the top.
  3. Glue your ribbon around the edge of the lid.

Notes

I love organising my craft and sewing supplies but want them to look pretty. We have so many of the jars from condiments that it works out well.

  • Jars are such handy things to have. For storage or for jams and chutneys. I never thought to decorate any before

  • I saw something similar to this. It was smaller jars though, small dinosaur toys. You paint the lid and the dinosaur gold (or any colour I suppose) stick the dinosaur on the lid. Fill jar with lollies. It’s something I’m planning to do for my grandson, he loves dinosaurs
