  • Thank you – one of the classics!

  • This was my favourite recipe to make for the kids playdough when they were little. Lasts really well if stored in a zip lock bag with the air expelled.

  • It’s good to make your own because then you know it is non toxic

  • Wow, how easy is that thank you

  • My kids love play dough, we go through plenty of it.

  • I keep our playdough in an air tight container in the fridge. Keeps really well.

  • Thanks for sharing this great recipe!

  • You can also just mix it in a bowl & use 2 cups boiled water (from the kettle) instead of using the saucepan. Can be a on the warm side when you start kneading though. Also have some extra flour on hand to roll/knead the dough in until it is ready & not sticky. Try adding glitter for a sparkly touch.

  • We spend so much on playdough that inevitably dries out very fast so this makes me hopeful we might save some money

  • That’s easy to make and the children will enjoy playing.

  • Great recipe I made this the other week but I didn’t cook it I just put it altogether an it was dough so I didn’t worry bout heating it

  • When I was a child I would eat the play dough my mum made.

  • I haven’t made play dough for ages … thanks for the inspiration

  • Thanks, must make this one.

  • Fantastic money saving idea. Better then the store bought stuff and can add a few drops of essential oils to engage more of their senses
