A great craft project for your children to do. These plates last forever if kept with care and are so special.

Material

  • 1 Small round white plate
  • 3 - 6 Craft Paint - pots with different colours
  • 1 Paint brush

Method

  1. Set up an area that can get a bit messy and lay down some newspaper for less mess.
  2. Place the pots of craft paint, paint brush and the plate down on the newspaper.
  3. Set your child/children up at the area which they can paint and ask them to paint a picture of themselves for you to show off or give as a present to someone special.

Notes

A fun project for children to do!

I completely adore my kids. I really like talking to all kinds of people, especially those with similar interests and hobbies. I love my shed cooking and making things from scratch.

  • A lovely activity. I am trying to think of crafty activities to do with my 2 year old so that he can give his Nonna and Grandma lovely gifts for Mothers Day and this is exactly what I was looking for!

  • Our kids made these at Prep for Mothers Day and Fathers Day. I don’t know how they sealed them/baked them/set the paint, but they have lasted years. I never put them in the dishwasher, hand wash only, and they are only used for special occasions.

  • Definitely need to seal this or use special paints. My son did it at childcare and the paint came right off.
