These stone herb name markers look fabulous and a little bit different. The kids could also make pet rocks by painting on the eyes etc and put them in the garden.

Material

  • pebbles
  • 1 white liquid pen
  • clear lacquer

Method

  1. Wash the stones and let them dry.
  2. Write the herb name on the stone and decorate. If you don't like it wash it off and start again.
  3. When you are happy with the result seal with clear lacquer. I like spray lacquer but painted on is fine. Let them dry then turn and lacquer the backs.
  4. Place into the garden.

Notes

Great to add to a bought or propagated plant that is a gift.

  • Good idea. Because the writing on paddle pop sticks always fades.

  • Our dog was recently put down and us buried in our backyard. These look great, am thinking of making some as grave markers. Write different words on each one explaining what our dog meant to us all
