Make your own bubble solution, cheap, quick and easy and suitable for all ages.

Material

  • 1/2 cup Tear free baby shampoo
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 tbl Sugar

Method

  1. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl, measuring jug or bottle. We use recycled water bottles as the mixture can also be stored in there.
  2. Have fun blowing bubbles! You can also use dish washing detergent if you don't need your bubbles to be tear free- the tear free is good for babies or young children should a bubble land on them.

  • My grandson has so much fun with blowing bubbles, but it can get expensive replacing the bubble mix when it gets split, which is often. Great to have a cheaper, home made version

  • Good idea, since kids inevitably spill some mixture and then end up rubbing their eyes! Does it work as well at making good bubbles as the dishwashing liquid version?
