It has been reported lollies eaten by students at Deception Bay North State School may have been a synthetic drug.

A woman who has a child at the school told 9NEWS the incident happened around lunchtime, and involved Grade Four students.
The school was reportedly locked down while paramedics attended to the sick children.
It has been reported the children took a substance named “mystical fire” they believed was “popping candy”.
Mystical Fire is sold in hardware stores and can be used to alter the colour of open flames.

Paramedics have confirmed the 25 children took the substance “mystical fire”. Four children who took the substance have now been taken to hospital for further treatment.
