  • This is just disgusting. This young woman is in serious need of some help and her baby deserves much better.

  • It happened here in WA, actually not so far from where I live. The girl admitted that she’s an “idiot” and she will start going to rehab.

  • Crazy behaviour and such a risk to the infant and the greater community. Let’s hope she learnt her lesson.

  • What a disgrace. She should not have the poor baby in her care

  • When will people learn that driving a car is not a right it’s a privilege. And during all the lessons on how to drive, nobody suggested having a baby on your lap. [or texting, doing your hair, putting on makeup or reading the paper or talking on your phone!]

  • They should not let the Mum have her baby back. That is irresponsible parenting. I am astounded that the baby wasn’t killed or at least critically injured. I wonder if she was trying to feed and drive at the same time. Why else would she have the baby on her lap? Most Mums won’t attempt to feed a baby when they are travelling as a passenger It seems she may not have been travelling very fast or the baby would have become a “flying baby”.

  • What a shocking experience for your nephew, mossysmum! :-(
Drink driving should be targeted even more. I have zero tolerance on that.

  • When will people learn… drink driving destroys lives. Several weeks ago my nephew was in a car with 2 c friends, the driver had been drinking..and smashed the car… the driver died, the passenger died and my nephew thank god survived. At the funerals od the 2 boys you could see mothers crying, dads crying, grandmothers crying… it really has destroyed alot of lives. My nephew luckily came out of the crash (as the only one in a set belt thank god) with depression and now is more or less a recluse..wont eat, wont sleep, when he does sleep he has nightmares. WHEN WILL PEOPLE LEARN..it wrecks alot of lives :(
