The 45-year-old said, “My kids collect everything. Whatever the craze is, they’re onto it, including Ooshies.”

So imagine her delight when she was shopping at her local Woolworths and stumbled on what she said was the last Ooshies Collector Case in the supermarket.

“Did you see that little booklet where you put them all in? There was one left at my local Woolies and I got it,” she said.

“Anyway. Got the booklet, very excited, had three kids with me after school, my own, not just others that I found. My own kids.”

Awesome! Yeah, but it wasn’t until the mum of three got home that she realised the parenting fail she had made.

“Anyway I got everything through from the self checkout and I got home. My eight-year-old was really excited about getting the book and guess what? I left it at the supermarket and I’d paid for it.”

Chrissie explained she didn’t bother going back to try and track down the case.

  • Yes that is something I would do but if I left it there I would’ve been shattered and tried to track it down.

  • If I’d paid for it I’d have called and asked them to keep it aside for me. Why didn’t they put it in the bags with her groceries?

  • This is our first time participating. My 2 year old plays role playing games with them so not bothered about cases.
