Winners for this competition

  1. A. Masters - NSW

  • I would choose a dolphin because they are so cute and adorable. The reason for that is I love the ocean . My kids also get so excited when they see dolphins on tv.

  • crocodile! Nothing cuter than a snappy croc

  • Platypus! they’re such unique animals and i don’t think they’re appreciated and acknowledged enough!

  • A wombat. My son is affectionately referred to as a wombat by some of my family and he therefore love all things wombat. Australian animals are the best too aren’t they.

  • A shark, there are so many fun facts about them, not all are scary and totally misu derstood

  • A meerkat because my son finds them hilarious and he loves the couple of books we have with meerkats in them. We read them on a loop so it’d be great to have more! They also look like someone has just yelled “oi” and they’re seeing who it was!

  • Dolphins and whales and seals as they are very intelligent and kids love them

  • I would choose the meerkat because they are so cheeky, and funny.

  • A kangaroo, they are so cute and the best part they keep their children close to their hart the in a little pouch

  • Chicken!. My autistic son is obsessed with making chicken sounds, kitty, dog sound, his favorite is a cat still. These books look perfect for him with his learning atm. Hes doing half days but would happily consider home schooling him if we could work from these books, hed love them

  • An elephant, the giant of the wild, but yet so gentle and just got to love the big floppy ears and that gorgeous nose, plus I wouldn’t have to worry about my waist(line)

  • A lamb, they are small, cute and cuddly. They follow you everywhere and make soft bleating noises to get your attention. They can be fun to watch, jumping and prancing and being playful and beautiful when asleep.

  • A giraffe. My son loves giraffes at the moment

  • The snake is often a feared creature, but one the author could have a lot of fun writing about. All the “s” sounds are great for speech and plenty of fun for kids to learn and master

  • Oi Dinosaur would be great as my almost 4 year old is obsessed! It’d be great to share this with him. I also find T-Rex’s hilarious as their arms are way too short for their body.
