An ultimate celebration of pop culture boasts an incredible lineup of guests from both screen and page, including celebrities from film and television, illustrators and writers from beloved graphic novels and authors who have immersed their readers in different worlds for years on end.

Truly an event for all ages, kids can leave their mark on MARVEL’s colouring wall, spark their creative desires in a range of kids comic artist workshops and walk tall in the Kids Cosplay Parade.

Comic enthusiasts can stroll through the Comic District and rub shoulders with comic guests from major publications or kick back and enjoy a read in the Comics Library. Gamers can feed their competitive spirit in the Gaming Zone or take a break in the freeplay gaming area.

  • Juggling ? Like most mums we love to juggle,I work 55 klm away, living on acreage. So I juggle cleaning house gutters, mowing cleaning going to work, groceries looking after 15 pet birds and a cat. I do oil changes on our cars. My girls have grown up with seeing that women are Jill of all trades and mistresses on none. But women have a unique ability to see the big picture of what’s needed and what will be needed. Sometimes we are our own worst enemy by doing too much. Learning to delegate is something we aren’t taught. And it’s ok to ask for assistance. So my super power is this. I’M A MUM. And always will be.

  • To be able to detect when my kids/grandkids are worried or stressed. I can usually get that mother’s vibe or sixth sense when something is wrong with my kids/grandkids

  • when my toddler is crying, i start singing opera at the top of my lungs (think of shriek when fiona starts singing with the bird) and he can’t help but start cacking up laughing that he forgets why he was even crying in the first place!

  • My hidden superpower is that I was able to convince my kids from a young age that fruits and veggies are delicious and good for you and now I never have to fight with them at meal times as they just eat anything!!

  • My superpower is my ability to loose my cool. Ha! Ha! Burn everything we eat! And never be on time for anything and Cry in the shower when everything gets to much! Only kidding! My superpower is having fun and creative ideas during weekends is my SUPERPOWER , I can leap small buildings, roll on the grass without rolling in doggie duddie and keep our kids entertained.

  • My superpower is keeping the kids busy on wet days .
I always have plenty up my sleeve
With board games painting cooking a movie with pop corn .
    We love rainy days

  • My talent is connecting my 2 children to my class and vice versa so they become all my children. All of my kids we are not a class but a Year 1 family. My little ones and I often attend student birthdays and we send them cards in the holidays.

  • My superpower is to be
    Simply happy
    Happy with our lifestyle
    My family makes me smile
Work, home and the choices I’ve made
Busy noisy home I wouldn’t trade
Oz Comic-Con in Brisbane will be fun
    A day out for everyone

  • My hidden superpower is being able to tell when my four year old is stretching the truth haha she is learning her boundaries and I’m teaching her about not telling the truth and the consequences of that.

  • A useful super power is knowing when my 3 year old needs to poop in public. Haha
Another super power is managing to get through each day and grow respectful children.
My favourite super power is to get both children to sleep at the same time!

  • Being able to hid veggies in meals – adding shredded carrots to spaghetti bol, shredded zucchini to chocolate brownies, grated beetroot into chocolate cakes -list goes on!

  • It was hidden even from me, so I asked my 6 year old. He says “you always win on the nintendo 64″.
    I call it ‘retro invincibility’.

  • mind control as i have the secret device, the xbox controller – without this life is over (well for mr 11) or the phone charger, days wont exist without this

  • My hidden superpower is being able to win Oz Comic-Con tickets from MoM for my daughter and her friends so that they will think I’m Super Mum. :)

  • No hidden superpower here. Just a regular Mum trying her best. 4yo, 10mo, hubby, looking after my Mum, grieving for my dad, working a night job and still doing house stuff. That’s pretty powerful on its own.
