  • My English Teacher who taught me the love of words and literature – so much so I’ve written my own book and I’m happy to say it has been picked up by a publisher – so exciting but he encouraged me all the way. Without his Inspiration and Motivation…. I don’t think it would have ever happened!

  • My mentor that inspired me is my old Pop he was an ethical old man with plenty of life experience – I could really respect him.

  • My Dad, he has always helped and been there for me and has pushed himself out of his comfort zone to what he loves.

  • My late grandmother, who lived through two world wars and modelled self-less generosity. During WWII she saved the life of a stranger’s baby by giving the mother her last can of milk. Many years later that baby came to thank my grandmother!

  • My Nan. She left everyone she knew and came here from Hungry, on a boat, just her and my uncle who was 3 & my Mum who was only 6 months old!
    Having only a 5th grade education from Hungry she taught herself to read, speak and write English.
    Taught all of her family that the most important thing in life is family & that it is more important to be kind than to be right.

  • Friends without knowing it- learn by association.

  • I look to the beautiful actress Dame Judith Dench for aspiration and confidence as a mentor in my mind. This admiring lady gives me strength to go through the day and night when I am struggling. Her movies are a mind wakening sole searching admiration to all . I look to her as a leader and a down to earth person that always looks for the good in all .
