  • colouring in!

  • Painting. It teaches patience, colour coordination, expression, creativity and fun. Plus she loves running around in an apron , turning into a human rainbow and making ‘presents’ for people. Look out Michael Angelo!

  • drawing with chalk on the cement, she makes words, does math and draws learning spacial awareness and using fine and gross motor skils

  • My daughter LOVES to paint. It’s a little messy, but worth the effort to see how much fun she has and how creative she can be!

  • We love cooking together. She has so much fun and doesn’t even realise it’s a learning activity. I get her to help me read and identify the ingredients, talk about safety and how things grow, learn new skills and is a great opportunity for her to ask me question.

  • She loves reading! So this would be perfect. No more carrying lots of books out shopping with us. I could just take the leap pad for her to read and enjoy!

  • My son loves paying yahtzee! he learns to count the dice and loves winning!

  • Mathematics. She must get it from my husband though as I am hopeless with numbers

  • Puzzles! We have started a large collection and even created custom photo puzzles with family photos, the perfect learning activity for our little one!

  • My child enjoys creativity yet feel independant at the same time. Leap pad will be able to fulfil that need.

  • Counting blocks and painting with colours too,
His favourites are yellow and blue!

  • My son loves maths so he counts everything around the house like when we are setting the table he counts the cutlery and then minuses which items we are using from how many items there are.

  • Memory. My Son has some behavioural problems and the classic game of Memory has considerably improved his concentration, increased his attention to detail, communication, social skills, even strengthened his visual skills.

  • It’s reading books. Even though he is holding them upside down I know he is learning and making sense of the world. All the other toys have been pushed away and now he has a book toy cupboard. Love watching him make his own choices and explore to learn.

  • copying everything her brothers do! and reading
