  • Year 6 musical – Cactus the Western! I was the main role and baddie “Mumma Cactus”. In the final week of rehearsal’s I did a spectacular back flip off the stage, missed the mats and landed on the concrete floor. Severely bruised both heel bones and on crutches for 2 weeks – I still performed every show and even did a backflip in the final performance (despite my teacher telling me I wasnt allowed!

  • Year 9 musical – Cactus the Western – I was the lead role and “baddie” Mumma Cactus! Final dress rehearsa; I did a back flip off the stage, missed the mats and landed on the concrete floor! Severely bruised the heel bones on both feet and was on crutches for 2 weeks!

  • Trying to act ill prior to getting on stage at school. Never used to work

  • My sister and I were a year apart at school so one year we were at our choral festival together. Oh, the practising we did at home belting out “Jerusalem” and other songs. Good times!
