Luna Park Sydney will be transformed into a magical Winter Wonderland this July!

For the very first time in its 80-year history, it’s going to be snowing at Luna Park Sydney. Luna Park will be transformed into a magical Winter Wonderland with Luna Park’s first ever outdoor ice rink, markets, festival lighting and falling snow sessions. During the 18 days in the July school holidays, guests can get up close and personal with Sid and Manny from Ice Age and keep warm at the Park’s winter markets, all while taking in spectacular views of Sydney Harbour.

Situated on the waterfront at Milson’s Point, Luna Park Sydney’s Winter Wonderland will host their winter markets; an enchanted experience offering guest’s delicious winter warmers like toasted cheesy jaffles, mulled cider, hot chocolate and popcorn.

The 23m x 12m ice rink is surrounded by Luna Park’s famous rides, making it one of the most unique experiences in Sydney. Access to the Outdoor Ice Rink is free with an Unlimited Rides Pass or Annual Passes with 30 minute sessions.

Coinciding with the release of the much-anticipated family film Ice Age: Collision Course, Luna Park’s Winter Wonderland will play host to dance lessons from Manny the mammoth and Sid the sloth during the holidays. The hugely popular characters will teach guests how to dance the Ice Age Continental Drift in daily sessions held in front of the ice rink, before giving kids the chance to snap a photo with their favourite character.

The Park will also run #KissTheIce GOODBYE during the school holidays – a social media competition giving guests the chance to win a family holiday to New Zealand. Park guests are invited to upload a ‘duckface’ picture to Instagram and tag #KissTheIce and @lunaparksydney for their chance to win. Luna Park Sydney’s Facebook page will also be filled with giveaways of Ice Age movie tickets and prizes.

Entry into Luna Park Sydney and the Winter Wonderland is free.
