  • I love all the various interactive toys for children as they are educational without realising it.

  • My baby loves books making story time very enjoyable for us both.

  • Rolling them, swinging them round, touching foot to hand on opposite sides, turning them upside down, swinging them from side to side, tracing their outline, this is how they learn about their body in space and time

  • Taking my baby for a walk would be my baby’s favourite learning activity. Not only does he get to experience fresh air, but I constantly talk to him about what we are passing or the wildlife we see. eg. kangaroo.

  • Painting! I love seeing the wonder in her eyes as she discovers what she has created.

  • The VTech baby walker has taken my little girl from couch surfer to dora the explorer, even hubby gets mesmerised by the detachable learning centre so watching those 2 interact makes you wonder who is teaching who

  • I think water play time is fun,
    Supervised by Dad or Mum!
    Splashing and moving away,
She has one every other day!

  • Crawling around the house, hiding and chasing, heaps fun for bub and Gran and most importantly, the more a baby crawls the less chance of learning problems later.

  • I currently use picture cutouts from magazines, and read out what the picture is to my 13 month old. She is slowly getting the words out.

  • Peak a Boo with a blanket on the floor, his laugh is just so beautiful. Noisy toys that get his attention, he just loves his little ball that makes noises, hopefully it encourage him to finally start crawling!

  • Picture cards

  • Making mud pies! It’s old school, creative, memory making and free!

  • It’s called Baby In the Mirror. I hold his arms in front of the mirror and point out his eyes, nose, mouth, etc. Then move the mirror and say, “Where did you go?” Moving mirror back and say, “There you are!”.

  • With fast-paced technologies we are fortunate that Vtech activities are here! An awesome milestone my bub is reaching with these fun-filled activities as he explores shapes to sound, dancing with drums’ beat and music from tablet. Cannot wait for him to meet Scout! Thank you Vtech for amazing technology!

  • Mine is just talking to him…he loves to listen, and luckily, I love to talk!
