Harry Potter – it is 7 books, but they have something in them for everyone. Magic, mystery, kids, adults. People of all ages love these books and find something in them.

The English Patient- a mystery man, identity, war, history, a beautifully poetic bomb disposal scene (what???) and a love story that makes me weep every time – he holds her in the plane even though she is dead and he is on fire! (Sob!) How can it be anything else?

I adore The Devil Wears Prada! A fun and frivolous book that began a promising career for Weisberger. I cannot wait to read When Life Gives you Lululemons!

Wuthering Heights for me. This book was required reading in my high school year, which I hated and struggled to read. A few years later I picked it up again and reread it. Which is when I fell totally in love with the book and the mysterious Heathcliff.

Poldark series had me losing sleep, sneaking books in bags and totally enthralled in all the books in the series.I collected battered and bashed copies, bought new and borrowed following books all for the rolling hills described so vivildly and captivating storylines.

Memoirs of a Geisha – the book completely transported me to a different time, place and culture. The movie did the book great justice and I have read the book at least 6 times. I have become fascinated with Geishas ever since.
