Winners for this competition

  • Apricot chicken. I absolutely love this dish but it is so hard to find a nice one as they always vary. Hoping this would make it easier, that easy that maybe hubby could even use it.

  • My daughter loves helping me make & decorate cakes, so I’d love her to be able to easily stir up a cake and whip up some buttercream to decorate how she pleases all by herself (with maybe a little help from dad for measuring & oven transfers!)

  • Chocolate melting cake. Oh yummy. That’s if they don’t get all the batter first!!

  • Pumpkin Soup, simple and so tasty, to keep me warm during cold Melbourne’s weather.

  • I love simple fresh food like soups so a beautiful creamy potato and leek soup would be lovely. Soft bread rolls and a cup of tea to ponder what great kids and family I have.

  • I’m not very fancy, I don’t need gourmet,
I’m happy with pasta and a nice cabernet.
What matters is that it’s made with love,
By my husband and sons who’ve been sent from above!

  • I’d be stoked if the kids (and the help of hubby)!made soft and fluffy pancakes or even eggs with a fresh hollandaise sauce as you can’t go past freshly made sauce. My kids love to cook so this would make it so much more fun!

  • If my children are preparing dinner for me on Mothers Day I would not mind what it was..

  • An omelette with sliced mushrooms, peppers and asparagus with feta cheese

  • Hubby and the kids in the kitchen, is a sight I rarely see!
I’d love to see them try a slice or bliss ball treat for morning tea!
I’m yet to see a Mother’s Day breakfast not prepared by me-
Thank goodness Miss 8 makes a good coffee!

  • The Salted Caramel Crumble New York Cheesecake looks AMAZING!!

  • As a working time poor mother of three kids, I could think of so many things I could whip up in this beauty. Risotto is an obvious choice, alongside a vegetable heavy bolognese. The joys of a modern kitchen are endless!

  • I would get them to make frozen strawberry daiquiri’s. Because when they aren’t looking I can add a couple of ingredients to ‘spice it up’! What they don’t know won’t hurt them!

  • Anything that is finally edible. Preferably including chocolate.

  • Last winter my son Nick surprised me by making a beef stroganoff – I’d love him to cook it long and slow in the KitchenAid Cook Processor so I don’t quite have to chew so very much to get a mouthful down!!
