If there’s anything new parents need, it’s to sleep soundly while their little ones are asleep, so they can wake energised for the day ahead.

Which is why we are excited to be giving you the chance to WIN an Owlet Smart Sock 2 valued at $400.

Owlet Smart Sock was developed in 2013 by four passionate dads with a simple vision – to create products to help parents know their babies are alright. The Owlet Smart Sock uses pulse oximetry, to track baby’s heart rate and oxygen levels, sharing insights in real time via the Owlet app. All of this housed in a super comfortable sock, which wraps around your bub’s foot while they sleep provides the perfect peace of mind support for new parents.

The prize of an Owlet Smart Sock 2 includes:

  • 3 Fabric socks (Sizes 0-18 Months)
  • Smart Sock sensor
  • Base station
  • Charging cords
  • Owlet App
  • AU adaptor
  • Free access to Connected Care – the app that shows historical sleep trends

  • I love how simple it is to have peace of mind know your baby is fine. Every parent stresses if the baby sleeps too long or even if they are doing things right. This would save so much stress.

  • Mouths of Mums have introduced me to the Smart Sock – The sleep I lost worrying I wish I had this for my 3 when they were younger. I have however a friend expecting and what a great and different baby present it would make.

  • My SIL raves about it. I’ll be doing the lions share of looking after our newborn for the first 3 months – while my husband recovers from a broken neck and the smart sock will provided much desired assurance that bub is safe and healthy.

  • Owlet, isn’t that a character from PJ masks? No? Am I even close? I’ve never even heard of a smart sock before, sounds intriguing, and will relieve the stress of wondering if baby is still breathing on those rare occasions they sleep in (better than the ‘stick your cold hands down their back’ approach). Tell me, are they chew resistant too?

  • I have only just heard about Owlet on Mouths of Mums. I wish I’d known about it with my firstborn, who spent the first few days of her life in neonatal ICU. It would have been so much easier to monitor her, and would have eased my anxiety, if we’d had an Owlet Smart Sock once we came home from hospital.

  • This is it the first i have heard of it wow it seems much more reassuring than my monitor i have ,i love that its stuck on them they cantroll over and it not pick them up or go of for no reason

  • Through mouth of mums. That the babies breathing, heartbeat can be monitored and advised with alarm if any problem

  • I love this product! I read about it on Instagram.. for me my favourite thing about it is the stress it takes away! I’m due for my 4th baby in one month and knowing I can put bub to bed without checking constantly and being anxious would be a god send!

  • Heard of thru mouths of mums, i love that this sock allows you to “watch tour baby sleep” while running household errands. It gives you peace of mind that bub is ok.

  • First time on the Mouth of Mums website. Its amazing. I want one. Love that I can access a real-time app to monitor my bub remotely. Great idea!

  • I heard about Owlet through this competition.
Having 2 babies with colic I know how precious sleep is.

  • I heard about the Owlet sock from a girl in my mothers group. I was telling her about my partner and i stresses of putting our six month old in his own room. My partner is up most of the night checking that he is breathing and the owlet appeals to me because I know it would be such a relief to know bubs is breathing and perfectly fine while he is asleep, after starting off as a newborn in special care with breathing problems

  • Through the lucky duck Facebook page.
I’m pregnant and would love to be able to use this to track my baby when born especially when sleeping.

  • I’ve seen adds for it on Facebook and through mouth of mums. It seems so practical to use would love to try it

  • Saw it on Facebook.
Monitoring the baby’s heart rate and oxygen levels would be easy and would be good for when sleeping.
