  • Wizard of Oz
Follow the yellow brick road, finding a brain, heart and courage to get you safely back home. Our girls love the magic ruby red slippers and the beautiful witches dress and I did too when I was little.

  • Cannot go past Mary Poppins. It is at it’s simplest “Supercallifragilisticexpialidocious!”

  • finding nemo

  • Finding Nemo. A great movie with lovable characters, the right balance between drama and comic relief, and a happy ending. What more could we want?

  • I still love the original HOME ALONE…hubby knows most of the dialogue and the kids have picked up a lot so its usually a hard-fought battle between the actors and the family as to who gets the correct lines in first.

  • The Sound of Music because it has a bit of everything including romance, music and even a bit of fighting.

  • Coraline.
My husband and I love horror movies.
Finally one we can share with the girls.
The kids say “It’s scary but I like it!”
And also a nice message from our 7 year old
“I’d rather have our family the way it is than a perfect family.”

  • The Sound of Music because it has a bit of everything including music and romance.

  • Mum, Dad, sister with learning difficulties, me (strange, rejected middle child) and much younger brother. The only movie I can remember appealing to all of us is The Man From Snowy River. There was movement at the station…

  • Charlie and the Chocolate factory, still have fond memories of it as a kid. Great movie and the original is the best.

  • The Goonies because it is the ultimate kids adventure story.

  • I love Jaws. It was the first movie I saw with my friends at the movie as a teenager it was the scariest thing I had ever seen. But remember it as one of the best days ever.

  • Annie, we watch it (and sing to it) over and over again in this house!

  • Disney’s “The Lion King.”
Probably just because it gives me fond memories of when my kids were little–er.
They sure don’t make ‘em like they used to. But then I suppose I’ve got a world of “older-kids”/family movies to look forward to.

  • Toy story remember taking Rochelle to this as her first movie, have watched it many times together since
