Weekend Today co-host Deborah Knight introduces her baby girl to the world and shared her story of a journey she was told would never happen.
The Daily Mail reports Nine News journalist and Weekend Today co-host Deborah Knight was shocked when she fell pregnant naturally after using IVF to conceive her other two children. The 43-year-old gave birth to Audrey at the end of January, announcing the birth she wrote: ‘I’m a mum again! Little girl born last night 30th January at 11:30pm.’
The message continued: ‘3.3 kilograms. Natural delivery. Still to be named. She’s divine. I’m well – exhausted – but over the moon.’
Talking to Woman’s Day about the shock of falling pregnant, she said: ‘Audrey came about naturally, even though fertility doctors and experts said it would never happen.’
Her seven-year-old son Darcy and five-year-old daughter Elsa are besotted with their baby sister, and Deb opened up about their sweet nickname, ‘The kids adore her and call her The Googs’.
Deb introduced the newborn to her Weekend Today family live on air on the weekend and shared a sweet snap with fans on Instagram proudly writing: ‘She didn’t crack it on TV!’
