Now we know that this gorgeous little creation of Kim and Kanye’s, North West, has HUGE beautiful brown eyes. So why is Kim posting images of her little girl with green eyes and another with blue?

Sure, she mentions that the blue and green eyes are from an edit to the image that someone has added, but many, many people out there are only seeing the image without Kim’s caption and wondering if she has given her almost 2 year old daughter coloured contact lenses.

Here they are for you to take a look at….

“Baby Wolfie #NoTheseAreNOTContacts #JustAnEditISawOnline”

“Another baby Wolfie pic. Not sure who made these edits they are so cute but not as cute as my brown eyed Wolfie!”

Here is little North without the eye colour edits, shown next to her Mum, Kim, at the same age

“I love seeing these! This side by side of North & I at the same age! Thanks to whoever made it!”

So what do you think? Are these types of images sending a message that it’s OK to photoshop/edit photos? Or is it simply a bit of fun?

  • Photo shopped is all it is.

  • I wouldn’t suggest getting a toddler to wear contacts either, but photoshopping doesn’t seem to hurt, does it ….?

  • If these are contacts then i really don’t agree at all… I wear contacts and they dry your eyes out terribly so to put them on a babies eyes is not a great decision! If it isn’t contacts and just photo shop then i have no issue with it… If someone wants to play around and edit a photo of their own child then that is their decision!

  • I think its just a bit of fun, but i wouldn’t do it my littlw girl has the exact same deep brown eyes as her daddy why would i ever want to change that even for a photo

  • Just about every second photo we see these days have been photo shopped. It’s up to the readers to know the difference and not get so caught up in the Fake world of celebrities.

    • Very good point; I find it disturbing when teenagers buy into photo shopped images and try to emulate celebrities.

  • Well Kim K Photoshops her photos all the time. It’s a sign of how sick our culture is in body image and populist beauty ideologies that a baby’s eyes are being photo-shopped.

  • I can see photoshop being a bit of fun, but how the images are used is the concern. Some people will only read the caption and make judgements. In other cases, they may even consider copying the fad without realising its digital editing. I don’t really see the sense in photoshopping; in many cases I think it sends the message that the person isn’t comfortable in themselves.

  • either way its not kim herself editing these pics so lets not jump on the oh bad mum band wagon, of course its not okay, but she is handling it very responsibly i think.

  • I think it is strange that people are trying to change the eye colour for a small child. Let’s rejoice in natural babies not the way they look after photoshop. Have to mention the Kim blonde hair…..please say it is a wig….it is horrendous!

  • As long as everyone knows its photoshopped then i dont see the problem with it….

When magazines alter photos they should have to put a disclaimer on the bottom so that we know its been altered.

  • North looks very much like her mum in baby photos.

  • Gorgeous baby. I don’t think the baby would be wearing contact lenses.
