When thinking about vintage style, we can’t help going back to the 70s, and nothing has affected this style like bell-bottom pants. Bell-bottoms used to be made in a variety of fabrics, but brownish, golden and various coloured tartan-patterned were dominating. If you are a true lover of this style, having one pair of these everlasting pants is a must. However, bells were also popular with the dresses and blouses. Long-sleeved belled tunics and puffy bell sleeve blouses have already found their way in this decade, so find a way to embrace it and wear with some rustic accessory.

Whatever piece you opt to wear, fine jewellery will always have its place in the modern world. So, only be combining geometric pendants from the 70s or girlish vibes of the 80s with a few statement retro clothes, you will be able to totally embellish your vintage look.

Something that every vintage lover must own in his wardrobe is the retro prints. Multicoloured wallpaper-style block prints defined the vintage decade. Many designer’s runways are buzzing with iconic printed silk-twill shirts, high rise sun-bleached flared jeans and boho belt-bags. But the thing that differs this look from all the others are the colours. Think mustard yellow, petroleum blue, and plum purple. Either worn with a plaid patterned shirt, where you could make a bow in the front part of your waist and paired it with short shorts and an opus weaved leather shoes. Floral patterned shirts were also popular, but add a modern flair by wearing a denim romper and ankle-length brown leather boots.

  • I buy the clothes that make me feel good. I used to wear 50’s dresses all the time. My style has changed a bit since losing weight though because my body shape is so different.

  • They’re all so pretty and elegant. Timelessly classic pieces here. I’m not a vintage wearer though, I am a vintage person and my clothes are vintage, but my style isn’t
