As Fifi Box approaches her due date she decided to host a “big sister” party for her six year old daughter Trixie.

What better way to celebrate the impending arrival of your new little brother or sister and get spoiled yourself too!? Fifi hosted a special high tea with Trixie and her friends.

Fifi shared on social media on Tuesday, “We had a beautiful morning celebrating Trixie about to become a big sister, only a few weeks left of having mummy all to herself! Such a beautiful high tea at @florriegirls, thankyou Jemima and the girls for making Trixie feel so special. ”

Such a sweet idea. How did you celebrate your child becoming a big brother or sister?

  • It really shows her good mum instincts, and love for her daughter to make sure she doesn’t feel left out.

  • When a friend of mine had her 2nd baby I gave the big sister something special I knew she would love. That way she didn’t feel so left out when everybody else ignored her the first time they saw the newborn. Some didn’t say hello to her at all and wondered why she became jealous so quickly.

  • Guess if you have a lot of money to splash around you can do these sorts of things. I used to tell my children that no further baby could take away the fact that they were No. 1 and loved just for themselves and every other child will have to share – it seems to have worked.
