KitKat Gold is set to take customers by surprise with a caramel white chocolate encasing the usual tasty wafer.
Nestle’s Head of Marketing Confectionary Anna Stewart has said the company is ‘thrilled’ by the ingenious product and is confident it will rival the original for flavour, shares Daily Mail.
For those living in Sydney and Melbourne you can get your hands on a free KitKat Gold if you visit Martin Place on August 30 and Southern Cross Station on September 3.
There will be giant walls of KitKat set up in each location with the first 8,000 people on site eligible to pick one up.
Inside one of the bars will be a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory-type golden ticket with the lucky owner winning a trip to Tahiti or Africa worth $5,000.
It is available nationwide in all major grocery stores but will only be on the shelves for a limited time.
