Hello!

Mum travelling alone with two kids was kindly asked to move by a flight attendant who then went above and beyond the call of duty.

A mum was flying with her two young girls when according to a passenger sitting nearby, her baby burst into a major meltdown. No matter what the mum did, she couldn’t console her baby or put an end to the “very loud” crying fit.

Carrie Jaboor was seated behind and watched as an airline employee walked up to the mum calmly and asked her to come to the back of the plane.

Shocked, when Carrie turned around, the exchange was the complete opposite of what she expected. “I looked back and saw him blowing bubbles for the little girl until she stopped crying as he was also giving tissues to the mother and consoling her as she was crying too,” Carrie shared with the Love What Matters Facebook page. “There are some seriously kind people in this world.”

Although some could have been more than a bit annoyed by the child’s crying, this kind flight attendant didn’t blame the mum and instead showed compassion to both the parent and her child.

  • what a great guy and asset to the company. he has a great attitude and is keeping the mum calm (inspite of the crying) and helping keep other passengers calm too. And besides, he doesn’t have to deal with the whinging people lol

  • I hardly ever fly anywhere but this is so unexpected. He must be a Dad himself to think of blowing bubbles to calm the little one. He is a definite asset to the company. He needs a big pat on the back for his actions. So glad to hear a good thing about stewards on the plane as opposed to all the negatives we hear

  • Never seen this before on my flights overseas – but then again never really had too many problems with young children on my flights either.

  • Some of the flight attendants are absolutely fantastic with kids. A friend of of mine flew overseas for a special occasion with 2 children, the youngest being a teething baby. One of the flight crew took the baby for awhile while they weren’t actually busy. THe older one was throwing tantrums and wouldn’t go with them at all, not even while the baby was asleep in the “crib” built into the plane’s wall.

  • Oh wow, what a lovely person. Helping the mum out and helping the other passengers have a stress free trip too
