Tim Harding spent his career entertaining kids across the country, but now all he wants is to help is little daughter Arielle.

Tim, 37, and his wife Natasha, 31, have done everything they can to manage their daughter’s illness.

Arielle was diagnosed with epilepsy at 15mths old, and suffers between 50 to 100 seizures every day.

Arielle’s epilepsy is drug-resistant and she suffers debilitating side effects – including severe tremors – from most medications, the family are now hoping she will be chosen to trial a new cannabis-derived drug.

‘This is the only relatively natural treatment that has any anecdotal evidence of working,’ Tim explains.

‘Other than the ketogenic diet, which didn’t work, there’s no natural way to treat epilepsy.’

‘We love her so much – she’s an absolute champion. We’re keeping our fingers crossed she gets this treatment so she can live life to the fullest,’ says Tim.

Tim shared on Facebook: “We just need to convince the politicians to back it and the public to change their minds about cannabis.”

  • Hope all turns out well for these parents – it would be a hard place to be in watching your daughter have seizures all the time.

  • Tim Harding isn’t even in this photo. How can no one even realise this. The man in this photo at the bottom is Stevie. They could at least post a photo of Tim. Strange.

As for the article, here’s to hoping the treatment works. I couldn’t even imagine how hard it would be for Tim and Natasha. Makes me look at my children’s trivial health concerns in a different light.

  • I can just imagine how devastating it can be for parents to see their child suffering like that. These cannabis trials are certainly needed.

  • oh how heartbreaking for Tim and his family – I’m a huge fan of his but I didn’t know anything about his daughter. I hope they get chosen so she can live a more comfortable life – fingers crossed for them

  • All for this, if it helps people, especially children, to live a better quality of life, why aren’t we doing this? Please, if it were your family, you would be voting for it!

  • The push to legalise cannabis oil is growing so fast. Tassie are leading the charge here, it seems to be helping so many people.

  • I’m all for it. To see the difference the cannabis oil makes to these peoples quality of life makes it so worth it. I don’t understand all the fuss, miss medicinal, not what a stoner would pack in his cone to smoke
