best tummy control underwear, experts advice - Mouths of Mums

Hello!

I researched the best tummy control underwear as I wanted something comfortable and supportive for everyday wear. I’ve been struggling with finding underwear that smooths my midsection without feeling too tight or uncomfortable, especially when wearing fitted clothes for long hours.
I went through reviews from trusted sources like Amazon customer reviews, fashion blogs, and recommendations from women’s lifestyle forums, and after comparing many options, these two kept coming up as the top choices:
SHAPERX Women’s Tummy Control High-Waisted Shapewear Briefs – Seamless | Firm Control | Comfortable for Daily Wear
https://amzn.to/4keleYA
wirarpa Women’s Cotton Underwear Tummy Control Shaping Brief – High Waist | Smooth Fit | Everyday Shapewear Underwear

However, I’m having trouble deciding which one would be better for me, and I would love to get some expert advice. I’m also hoping maybe some women or people who regularly wear tummy control underwear can share their experience and suggestions on this forum.
I usually need something comfortable enough for all-day wear, supportive but not restrictive, and reliable under dresses and jeans. Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

  • I can’t give you advice really. I don’t really have rolls in the mid section and my weight is considered to be below average. Yet my youngest tells me nearly daily that I have a big tummy, lol ! But that has more to do with anatomic build and posture whereby my hips positioned forward. In the past I did think I should use control underwear but it is me to warm and I decided to accept my body as it is.

  • I get the beige seamless high waisted ones from target but in a size up. That way they aren’t super tight, but make everything compact whilst still feeling comfortable. I wear these pretty much daily, they can’t be seen under bike shorts or leggings and are super affordable aswell, I think they come in black too

  • It can be hard finding a pair that can tick all the boxes. I love the skinny girl range, they are flattering with good cuts and accurate sizing. Where they are lacking is that it’s made with synthetic material, so it can be a bit sweaty. I don’t know the ones you have linked, but I like them without a thick waist band and made of cotton
