Hello!

Cambodian Child At TempleHabitat For Humanity’s most recent project, Hand in Hearts, will assist more than 140 orphans, vulnerable children and families in Cambodia who have been impacted by HIV and are in desperate need of somewhere safe and decent place to live.
Join broadcaster and journalist Angela Catterns and the CEO of Habitat For Humanity Australia Jo Brennan for an evening to create new beginnings for these vulnerable children and families living with HIV and AIDS that need assistance.
The Mouths of Mums team would love to share this Habitat For Humanity invitation to all mums, friends and family members who’d be interested in finding out more and offering some help to these communities. Habitat for Humanity are seeking 100 Australians to travel to Cambodia next year in March to help build homes for these incredible families.

Angela Catterns - Habitat For Humanity Australia

“As an Ambassador for Habitat for Humanity Australia, I’m proud to be part of the Cambodia  project to build safe and decent homes for 140 families and orphans affected by HIV and AIDS living in the Phnom Penh area.

It’s something we take for granted, but a safe and decent home is fundamental to breaking the cycle of poverty and improving health, wellbeing and education outcomes for children.  Habitat has a long track record of partnering with families to help them build their own homes and  overcome hardship. For the families we are reaching out to help through this Cambodia project, hardship is further compounded by the challenge of living with AIDS and HIV.

We need 100 committed individuals to join Habitat for Humanity- and me – in Cambodia next March. We need to raise funds so we can build homes and change lives. Please register today or join me at one of the forth-coming special forums, to hear these families’ stories and find out how you can get involved.” – Angela Catterns
