Hello!

I know how challenging it can be to get to a gym and do a workout when you have a baby/toddler/child with you. So I thought I’d share a quick at home workout that you can do any time, without any equipment.

It only took me about 13 minutes to complete it, and I did it in the comfort of my living room.

Here’s what I did:

  • 10 x reverse lunges (10 each leg)
  • 10 x bridge to push up
  • 10 x leg raise
  • 10 x burpee with split jump

4 rounds, with a drink break in between each round.

Quick tip: with the leg raises, keep your tummy tucked and your back pinned to the floor. The moment you feel your back start to come off the floor, raise your legs back up. It’s actually really tough to do!

I’d love to hear your feedback, so if you decide to do the workout at home, let me know how you go! Share in the comments below.

  • I really struggle to be able to do any sort of exercise :(

  • Very easy workout :) There’s just never enough time so this would be great

  • I split the sessions. Less intense, also I can do some in between caring for a restless baby or toddler.

  • Looks easy, but bet it’s hard to do – what do you do when toddler is at school?
It would be hard to find that weight around the house.
My exercise regime takes about 15 minutes, but I don’t lose weight with it.

  • I did something along the lines of this but added free weights and sit ups (when able).

  • That video didn’t last 13 mins ;). The last one looked tough. I hope it is good for toning. ;)

  • I love your article. I should exercise more and on the odd occasion when I do I find that I enjoy dancing around the house when no one else is around.
