Hello!

If you are anything like me, you’re connected to your smartphone way too much.

Some call it an addiction; I like to think it’s just me being able to stay in touch with work and friends easily, and always being in contact in case my kids need me.

Regardless of your personal take on it, acknowledging that it’s time to upgrade your ‘other baby’ to something with more space to fit your million and one photos means shopping around for the best deals, and then of course selling your pride and joy for the best possible price too.

So where do you start?

If your budget does not stretch far enough for a brand new, shiny phone, there are a few avenues worth pursuing to purchase second hand one.

You can always chat to friends and family to get an idea of what your phone may be worth and see if anyone has a phone they no longer want. Of course there are always a number of reputable sellers offering a range of certified pre-owned phones to buy, some may even accept trade ins. Then again, there are auction sites and online classified sites where you spend hours getting lost in a sea of listings trying to suss out what your phone is really worth.

But who has time for that?

If you are like me, you are going to want to find out the best possible price for your phone, today, now! Work out what your iPhone 5s, Nokia Lumia 930 or Samsung GalaxyS4 is really worth without just plucking a figure from the air.

So how can you come up with a price that’s realistic, so that you can buy your upgraded model without spending too much, and sell your old phone without being taken for a ride? Easy!

Have you heard of the online Phone Price Checker?

It’s an interactive, up to date tool with real time prices, hundreds of phone models and most importantly, instant data.

What it reports is not only what your current phone can sell for, but also what your wish-list phone can be purchased for, all in one place. How’s that for an online tool?

Not only is this online price checker going to save you time and effort, but also empower you to make the right decision. Part with your old phone and earn some fast cash.

Don’t list your phone for sale at a price that’s too high and miss out on the action, or even worse, too low and practically give it away. Find out what your phone is worth and enter into the perfect transaction every time.

So in case you are wondering how I fared, I managed to successfully sell my old iPhone 4s for just under the average price, which currently stands at $198.93. Not only was I able to list it for sale, for free, but because I opted for a slightly lower asking price than my competitors, I managed a faster sale. Now I’m cashed up and very happy.

My new addiction, I mean phone, is a handsome iPhone 6 that I bought via an ad I found through the phone checker tool. It’s an unlocked demo, practically brand new (yes, you can find new items amongst second hand treasures) and it never leaves my side.
