  • Such a simple thing but it makes all the difference for the little ones and also for the elderly.

  • great tip, but 1/4 cut watermelon which I buy from supermarket isn’t cut this way…

  • Great tip. My daughter loves watermelon and blueberries.

  • Wouldn’t the rest of the watermelon dry out before you got to the end. Will still give it a go though.

  • Great to know for the warmer weather coming up!

  • I must admit I never buy a whole or even half a watermelon. I’m more likely to buy a quarter. I love this demo though and would definitely use it. I cut sort or similarly with a quarter so there’s very little waste. Looking forward to watermelon season.

  • great video. I buy ¼ water melon I wonder if it will work with that?

  • A clever way to cut watermelon, however, we do like a big quarter to sink your teeth into – always fun to make a mess with watermelon, half the fun of eating it! :)

  • hahaha, love it. Funny how something so simple can make you smile and wonder … I cut a watermelon this morning for school lunches. Wish I saw this video before that, lol – will definatally try in a few days

  • I cut all the skin off then cube the entire watermelon as it is much easier to store containers of watermelon in the fridge then the entire fruit

    • Yes, I do exactly like you. But if you are going to eat it immediately, probably it’s easier like they show it in the video.

      • At home the skin is on and for lunch boxes, the skin is off.

  • My friend does this – her children say it’s like a lollypop! My kids don’t waste their triangle size watermelon pieces though
