Craving a dessert in hurry? Whip up this super quick milo cake and you could be eating it in under 5 minutes!

Ingredients:

  • 4 tablespoons of self-raising flour
  • 4 tablespoons of Milo
  • 4 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 3 tablespoons of milk
  • 4 tablespoons of oil

Method:

  1. Mix all the ingredients in a microwave proof bowl until well combined.
  2. Microwave for 3 minutes.
  3. Eat!

This is literally the quickest dessert and so tasty, the kids love it. You can add ice-cream on top for an extra treat!What is your favourite quick dessert?

  • Quick and easy! Sometimes I make a small steamed pudding in a bowl like this and use raspberry jam on the bottom. when you turn it out it is just like the good old traditional steam pudd mum used to make.

  • Wow that’s a lot of sugar : 4 tablespns + what’s in the milo as well …think maybe ditch the added sugar.

  • There has been a few microwave cake recipes recently. The difference is most are made in a mug.

  • Seems so simple ! But a bit too much sugar maybe!! I’ve never had sugar in my milo so I might have to omit it from the cake – the milo is plenty sweet enough.
