See how you can make this fun bear glove puppet with your kids on the weekend, by Riot Art & Craft.

You will need:

  • An old glove
  • Some Googly Eyes
  • An HB Graphite Pencil
  • A pair of Scissors
  • A Mini Glue Gun and glue sticks
  • Fabric Glue
  • Dark Brown Felt
  • Light Brown Felt
  • Light Pink Felt
  • Crystal Blue Felt
  • Pink Fabric Paint

Step 1. Make the head

Create your bears head by placing your hand over a doubled up piece of felt and drawing a generous line around it, which includes two ears. Have mum or dad glue the edges together with the hot glue gun (or sew the edges) and check that the head fits over your middle three fingers, and the hands fit over your thumb and little finger. *you can use fabric glue from this point onwards or stick with the glue gun.

Step 2. The details

Once you’re sure that they fit, glue on your facial features and googly eyes.  Take a piece of felt, fringe the edges and glue around the base of your bears head like a winter scarf.
