Fairy houses are magical places and you and the kids can make your own in your backyard.

What you’ll need:

  • Wooden bird house (sold in the craft sections of hardware and craft stores)
  • Rocks, moss, sticks, flowers etc (whatever you’d like to decorate your house with)
  • Waterproof glue

Method:

  1. Decorate and glue on your design for your fairy house.
  2. Leave to dry completely.
  3. Choose a spot in the garden and plant a cute fairy garden around it if you want you.

These are so very cute and would make magical gifts too.

Do you have a fairy garden in your backyard?

  • A work colleague planted a fairy garden but she never thought of a fairy house.
I would recommend painting the timber fairy house with sealant before decorating. The children weill be very disppointed if it didn’t last very long.
