I can’t believe I have never thought about making fruit spring rolls! These look amazing and would make a great snack for the kids.

What you’ll need:

  • Fruit of choice
  • Rice paper wrappers
  • Honey
  • 1 lime

Method:

  1. Thinly slice your chosen fruit.
  2. Soak one wrapper at a time in warm water for 10 seconds or until soft.
  3. Lay wet wrapper on the bench and fill with your cut up fruit.
  4. Fold up ends and then roll.
  5. Repeat to make more
  6. Mix together 1/4 cup of honey, the zest and juice of 1 lime and a few tablespoons of water to make a dipping sauce.
  7. Serve rolls and sauce and enjoy!

  • These look amazing! Would be great as a play date snack too for the kids to pick their own fruit.

  • Served these without the sauce as my children did not like it. Some cinnamon was used for sweetness./

  • If you are giving these to young children they may prefer not to have the dipping “sauce” and not need the honey in them. Ripe fruit is sweet enough. Babies and toddlers and young aren’t always interested in dipping sauce and are likely to refuse to eat them at all.
