Winter wind is particularly hard on lips and they often get cracked and dry; here is an easy solution to help your lips stay soft all year round.

What you’ll need:

  • Brown sugar
  • Coconut oil
  • Honey
  • Spice of choice – pumpkin spice or cinnamon smell great
  • Small container

Method:

  1. Put 1/2 tablespoon in a bowl.
  2. Add 1/2 tablespoon of coconut oil.
  3. Drizzle over some honey.
  4. Add a pinch of chosen spice and mix.
  5. Put your scrub into a small container and use it on your lips when needed.

How easy is that?!

I’ve made this scrub and it really soothes cracked lips and helps keeps them moist.

  • Why is it called Lipscrub when it is really a lip balm which is a different consistency to commercially made ones.
Cinnamon sounds like a great choice. I’ve never heard of pumpkin spice.

    • Pumpkin spice is similar to mixed spice (a combination of cinnamon, cloves, ginger, nutmeg).
