Our eldest is only allowed to use the internet for research for school. Otherwise, no. She doesn’t have access to Facebook or email either at this stage. She is only allowed on YouTube if we watch it with her. I have to use my sign in for her to be able to access it. I don’t consider it is necessary for a 8 – 10 year old to have access to the internet or facebook that young. We also have a child “lock” on the hard drive connected to the TV so both the kids can’t access unsuitable movies. The younger girl is pre-school age.
