Hello!

What a week it has been. To say I have been busy is an understatement! But it’s been an eye opening, exciting, motivational and inspiring week.

I made a HUGE decision to get some mentoring. I have lots of ideas for my business and what I want to do, but no real idea how to develop and grow them. So I thought it was time I invested in myself. It wasn’t an easy decision and one I thought about everyday for over a week. I wrote pros & cons, discussed it at length with my husband and a couple of friends. They all played devil’s advocate, which was great and eye opening, but one comment stuck.

“I guess my business pays a lot of money to train me and invests so much in me and no-one has invested anything in you or your business since you did your PT course”. That was over 6 years ago!

So what did this say to me… YES, it is time I invest in myself and my business that I love and have grown from the ground up. One I am proud of, one I know has so much more potential – I just need some help to guide me on how to get there. Asking for help is always hard, then making the decision to invest your money and time was even tougher.

So I am week 1 into my mentoring course. It is an 8 week course. It is a mastermind group of 10 of us. All of us in the health/fitness/well-being industry.

I am one week in and I am LOVING it. I am learning SO much about myself. I am setting goals that I am SO motivated to achieve. I am inspired, my brain is overloaded with ideas and I just want to get them all happening, which has meant lots of late nights (way past my usual bedtime!) But I am waking up excited and ready to go.

One question I was asked, as part of my homework, was ‘What is it that you REALLY want?’.  When you look at it, it seems like it should be a really easy question to answer. But when you stop to actually think about what you are going to write, it’s much harder.  Why don’t you grab a piece of paper, or write it down in your phone, or write down in the comments below your answer to the question – WHAT DO YOU REALLY WANT? See what you come up with. It can be anything you want.

One thing I have learnt is to think BIG! What is stopping you?

I did something I have never done before (that I can remember), and I worked from a cafe one morning last week. I did that to prove to myself I can work how I want, when I want. And it was great! I had my green smoothie and my Raw Mumma Ball and I got so much done – it’s amazing how much you can do if you aren’t distracted by the internet, washing, dishes, cooking! I will certainly be doing it again. One thing I completed while I was there was a Vision Board. I am sure many of you have heard of them, maybe even done one of your own. Well I had never done one! If you haven’t you should give it a go – remember, think BIG.

One of my daily mantra’s this week has been… ‘It’s my time NOW and I’m ready for the next step NOW!’

I am ready for change, I am ready for a challenge, I am ready to take the next step in making my business and my life exactly how I want it!

What’s your next step to the life you want? How are you investing in yourself?
