Hello!

STOP EVERYTHING! Lindt’s famous Hazelnut Spread is now available in Australia.

This scrumptious product, which has up until now, been exclusively available in the UK and Europe, is made with real Lindt chocolate and combined with hazelnuts to create a “full and intense flavor” with a “perfectly smooth texture”.

The Swiss company has described the spread as:
“The use of real LINDT chocolate combined with hazelnut enables you to create a delightful dessert or snack with a full and intense flavor. The preparation method that has been fine-tuned by the Lindt MaÎtres Chocolatiers to give rise a perfectly smooth mixture which retains the full chocolate aroma.”

Not Nutella

It separates itself from its competition (ie Nutella) by stating that Lindt’s hazelnut spread’s main ingredient is hazelnuts. In fact, the spread contains 25% nuts, whereas Nutella, which is manufactured by Ferrero Rocher, only contains 13% hazelnuts, with sugar and fats filling out the bulk.

The Lindt spread is also palm oil free, which Nutella is not.

Lindt Cocoa Spread

And just when we thought we couldn’t get more excited, Lindt has announced the arrival of its Cocoa Spread. This is must be the most indulgent dark chocolate spread on the market…and we can’t wait to get our spoons deep inside its jar of delicious decadence.

Speaking to 7News, Lindt Master Chocolatier Thomas Schnetzler, commented about the pair’s arrival in Australia’s supermarkets:

“We’re so excited to bring our new Lindt spreads to Australia. Now everyone can enjoy our delicious chocolate in a spreadable form as a perfect treat. Our Lindt Hazelnut Spread is made with 25% roasted hazelnuts which is more generous than many other spreads. This generosity adds to the incredible flavour when the hazelnuts are combined with the cocoa creating the perfect blend.”
