A NSW south coast man has been charged for allegedly punching a three-year-old boy repeatedly.

The 28-year-old man lived occasionally at a Bomaderry home with a woman and her two young children aged five and three, police say, and on Monday morning he allegedly punched young boy several times.

Later in the day, following a struggle with police, the man was arrested and charged with two counts of common assault and resist an officer in execution of duty.

He’s been remanded in custody and is due to face Nowra court on Tuesday.

  • Hope he gets his just deserts – a three year old should never be punched by an adult.

  • These stories make me so angry. I hate violence but in cases like this we should all be allowed to line up and punch him in the face.
