TV Chef Pete Evans has pushed a new anti-vax podcast, urging his followers to ask questions about vaccination and medicine.

Posting yesterday on social media he shared links to the podcast of anti-vax parent and exercise coach Paul Chek as he interviewed a fellow anti-vaxxer, osteopath Sherri Tenpenny.

In the podcast, Dr Tenpenny, who is well-known in the US for her views, shared provocative opinions about the intellectual superiority of unvaccinated children, and argued that all doctors are uneducated about vaccines.

“One of the most important podcasts to listen to. Thanks @paul.chek for asking the questions that need to be asked about vaccines and medicine,” Evans wrote.

Many of Pete’s 1.5million+ fans went crazy on social media, thanking him for sharing the info.

Dr Tenpenny, who has written two books urging people to steer clear of vaccines, says she doesn’t recall immunisation ever being discussed while she was in medical school.

Dr Tenpenny and Mr Chek discuss their opinions on how non-vaccinated children go on to be intellectually superior to those who are vaccinated; Dr Tenpenny says her chiropractor told her that vaccinated kids seem “messed up”.

Doctors warn Pete Evans to stick to cooking!

The head of the Australian Medical Association has warned celebrity chef Pete Evans should stick to cooking and not spread misinformation about vaccinations, reports The Guardian.

The Australian Medical Association president, Dr Tony Bartone, said celebrity chefs should stick to cooking, not spreading unproven medical advice.

“When it comes to cooking, Pete Evans might be an expert, but his misinformation about vaccination is a recipe for disaster,” he said in a statement.

“He should leave the medical advice to the experts and keep quiet about matters he has no skills, experience or expertise in.”

The media has certainly not held back, lashing out against the celebrity chef sharing such views

  • He is totally irresponsible using his public profile to spread unsubstantiated dangerous claims that will affect others children as well as my own. Channel 7 need to take a public stand and speak out against him

  • Seems like a lot of unsupported comments but I’m not surprised Pete shared it he’s previously been irresponsible with what he’s shared.

  • He is entitled to his opinion and I am entitled to ignore it.

  • Oh yeah. A celebrity chef and an exercise coach are really who I’m going to look to for medical advice, over say, qualified immunologists. What a turd.

  • He should stick to cooking and poor taste cooking shows! –

I hate it when people who think they know better about everything start talking about things they don’t actually know about and people take it as gospel

Just because they are celebrities doesn’t mean they are experts!
