I gave birth to my second child several months ago and ever since I’ve been getting severe pain in my pelvic area. I’ve noticed it often happens when I wear something tight around my belly, after orgasm, sometimes after drinking coffee (not always but sometimes) and then sometimes just randomly. It’s like I have a build up of gas and occasionally going to the bathroom will help to ease it a little but it will still hang around for a while. Duration is at least half an hour, often it can hang around for a couple of hours. I will be seeing the doctor but just wondered if any other ladies have experienced this and if they figured out what it was? Thanks.

  • I’m really curious to know what this ended up being as I have similar pain, such as the wind like build up. Mine hangs around for hours, til I go to bed and it’s usually gone when I wake up

  • I see this is an old question. What was the conclusion of the doctor ?

  • I was wondering about an underlying food intolerance, eg lactose? I had similar synonyms and recently took the test and bingo – lactose intolerant. Problem is now solved :)
Perhaps you have upset the ‘silt/sludge’ in your gall bladder which is easily done during birth and often self settles back down over time. Good luck!

  • Definitely sounds like an ultra scan will help find out!@

  • You may need to have a ultra sound scan done. I hope all goes well with you. Glad you are going to the doctor.

  • I’ve been experiencing the same thing and have a doctors appointment too

  • I never experienced this but everyone is different. Good to hear that you will be seeing the Dr about it though. Hope everything is OK.
