  • Read to them. Also try sensory play activities: moon sand, play dough, cold pasta, rice play, water play. There are heaps of ideas for this on Pinterest.

  • Goodness me, entertaining a 14 month old can’t be too hard. Everything is new and fascinating to them. Puzzles, books, a walk, a trip to the park, put on some music and just dance

  • get them outside and exploring the world. Toddlers that age love to touch every plant and smell every flower.
If the weather is yuck, maybe find a kindergym or playgroup to go to. My 2 loved these activities, especially being around other kids! good luck!

  • sand pit, making bottle instruments or going for a run in the park

  • how did you go? :)

  • Hope you managed to use some of these good ideas.

  • What did you end up choosing?

  • blocks, Duplo, dolls, prams, cars

  • painting, making play doh , drawing.

  • There are some really good plastic gym sets for this age, some have slides, tunnels and even low swings.

  • We just got a trampoline. I don’t know if that’s an option for you but it gives us hours of entertainment! You can put balls or toys in it for something different, use the underneath as a cubby, etc.

  • So many great ideas here. I also turn to google when I need some inspiration for new things to do with my kids.

  • a wide variety of short and easy activities as children lose interest soon

  • Music on, singing and dancing scribbling on butchers paper

  • You tube has great ideas for young kids and step by step too so easy for u
