  • Just take it easy on yourself, do what you have to to survive.

  • Enjoy the ride – how arenyou going now – any advice you’d give to yourself?

  • Don’t be afraid to ask for help.
You’re entering a whole new phrase of you’re life & you’re going to come across things you never expected or don’t understand. We all did & some still do.
No 2 children are the same, they’re all different. Trust your instincts. If something doesn’t feel right question it.
But most importantly, enjoy being a Mummy!
You’re about to bring a tiny little human being into the world that you created.
Don’t worry about every little thing, mistakes happen, we’ve all made them & some continue to, no-one is perfect.
You just do the best you can & congratulations & welcome to motherhood.

  • life will never be the same! you will get used to sleep deprivation

  • I am sure that you have worked it out by now :)

  • How did everything go with your birth and did you have A boy or girl?

  • My best advice is to stop at 1! 2 guarantees arguments and competition!

  • It’s awash of emotion and a tidal wave of advice. Just filter through it all, nod. Go with your instincts and take the advice you think matters, for you. Noone who is a mum has perfected anything. I’ve yet to meet one. Do your best, you learn like the little one will, together ( :

  • Do not feel like you have to take everyones advice on board. You take what you want!

  • Some really good advice below – hope it has helped.

  • Life will never be the same again after baby enters the world, but it is all worth it and I wouldn’t change it for the world.

  • The best advice I can give is when a newborn makes jerky movements with their arms and legs, they want to sleep- not play. Wrap bub straight away and put in cot while still awake. Take note of what time bub normally wants to feed & sleep, that way you know their routine and can work around it.

  • You may not get as much sleep as you planned to so when ever you can find some time to do it.

  • I know this answer will sound a bit ‘fluffy’, but the absolute best advice that was given to me was” You don’t have be Superwoman to be a super mum”.

  • Every baby is different, everyone will have opinions and suggestions on how you should do things with your baby take these with a grain of salt and do what works best for you both.

Breastfeeding may not be as easy as you think in the beginning but very worthwhile if you are able to stick it out if you are struggling ask for help and don’t be afraid to ask.
